Triet Le joined ARLIS as Visiting Research Scientist where he will serve as a lead data scientist and capability developer supporting projects relating to AI & machine learning, natural language processing, modeling & simulation, and test and evaluation. He is also holding an Adjunct professorship at Howard University. Prior to coming to ARLIS, Dr. Le spent 8 years as a senior research scientist in the Research Directorate at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), where he led and managed research programs advancing geospatial science, machine learning, predictive analytics, and workflow optimization. Prior to his role at NGA, he was a Visiting Scholar at the Institute for Pure and Applied Mathematics at the University of California at Los Angeles, a lecturer in the Mathematics department at the University of Pennsylvania, and a Research Scientist and Gibbs Assistant Professor in the Mathematics department at Yale University. His academic research in Image and Data Analysis was funded by the National Science Foundation and the Office of Naval Research.
