Allison Casey
Allison Casey joined ARLIS in July 2023 as a Visiting Research Engineer. Casey began her career with Lockheed Martin on the Earth Sciences mission at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center as a Satellite Systems Engineer focusing on the attitude determination and control subsystem.
Upon joining Orbital Sciences Corporation, Casey dedicated four years to a multifaceted role that included validation, verification, and maintenance of satellite flight software. She also developed a variety of software solutions, including a financial management system for Orbital and software to support a scientific experiment aboard the Space Shuttle.
Casey joined Kratos Technology and Training Solutions, where she spent a decade focusing on the development of satellite ground systems. During her tenure, she was the development lead for multiple software teams in support of the USAF MILSATCOM system, specifically in the areas of command and telemetry, simulation, and mission unique software. Additionally, she held managerial and software engineering roles on several projects under the Kratos Federal Services division.
Prior to joining ARLIS, Casey developed and deployed systems for the intelligence community. She focused on system architecture, search optimization, streaming data analytics, web application development, and continuous integration/continuous delivery.
