Dale Minich is a retired submarine officer who served in various roles both at sea and ashore during 21 years on active duty. Through his career he qualified as a Nuclear Engineer Officer, Strategic Weapons Officer, and was certified for Command at sea. He additionally completed DAWIA Level I certification in Test and Evaluation. He helped shape current submarine force requirements for Force Protection and Nuclear Weapons Security implementing numerous changes ensuring defense in depth. He spent time overseeing the operations of the Navy’s Strategic Submarines and finished his career conducting the design and execution of operational test and evaluation for submarine platforms. After hanging up his uniform, he took a position on the staff of OSD(AT&L) providing developmental test and evaluation oversight for 8 major Department of Defense acquisition programs. He returned to submarine force headquarters spending 5 years working maintenance issues across the Navy enterprise and then transitioned for another 2 years writing War Plans and Policies for the Submarine Force. Prior to joining ARLIS in September 2022, he was providing direct support in the design and implementation of the life cycle sustainment ecosystem for the COLUMBIA Class SSBN Program Office
