Dawuad Murray is joining the ARLIS Finance Department as a Senior Financial Coordinator to serve as the lead finance POC for procurement and consulting contracts, support the contract award closeout process, help administer Priority BA4 data, and conduct other business and financial management related duties. In 2013, Dawuad began at the University of Maryland as an Accountant for the School of Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences. In 2018, he transferred to the Strategic Sourcing and Acquisition Services Department to oversee the Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and manage campus-wide P-Card reporting. Then in 2020, he took his talents to the College of Computer, Mathematical, and Natural Sciences Earth System Science Interdisciplinary Center (ESSIC), where he managed procurement, travel and sub-contracts for the Cooperative Institute for Satellite Earth System Studies in his role as Business Coordinator.
Dawuad earned a Bachelor of Arts in Jurisprudence from the University of Baltimore in 2019. He holds a certificate from the University of Maryland (Baltimore) in Sponsored Pre/Post- Award Grants & Contracts Management.
