Dr. Gene Gualtieri has spent the majority of his career in the field of medical imaging, as a software developer in private industry, an applied researcher at the University of Pennsylvania, and as an Assistant Research Professor at Drexel University. Notably, he collaborated with scientists from Penn's Gorman Cardiovascular group to develop novel software for real-time sampling of k-space in cardiac MR using EKG signals input. This technique obtained high-quality images for cardiovascular disease even during arrhythmias.
Prior to joining ARLIS, Dr.Gualtieri was head of software and technology development at AJO, LP, an investment management firm in Philadelphia. His role there was leading the modernization and design of software systems used for equity portfolio management.
