Malaika Tiglao is a Faculty Research Specialist at the University of Maryland Applied Research Institute for Intelligence and Security (ARLIS). Her research interests include the use of Artificial Intelligence in improving supply chain visibility and the translation of supply chain risk into policy. Prior to joining ARLIS, Tiglao worked as a consultant in Deloitte's federal practice outside of Washington D.C. where she assisted several multi-million-dollar projects with the Department of Defense. She specializes in IT implementation, supply chain illumination, and the development of machine-learning solutions for data-driven decision-making. Tiglao obtained her BS in Business Analytics & Technology with two minors in Data Science and Supply Chain Management from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX. She plans on completing her MBA at the University of Maryland's Smith School of Business.
