Marcus Hill is a faculty research specialist at ARLIS. He is a recent graduate of the University of Maryland, where he pursued a MPS in Machine Learning and a certificate in Data Science. Prior to coming to UMD, he received a BS in Computer Science and a BA in Mathematics at the University of Rochester.
Hill was a summer RISC intern for ARLIS in 2022 and an intern during the 2022-2023 academic year, where he worked on projects involving natural language processing. While at Rochester, he worked as an undergraduate research assistant, where he worked on various projects involving artificial intelligence and natural language processing.
His research interests include machine learning, data science, statistics, natural language processing, and abstract mathematics.
