Pamela Castleberry is the Assistant Director for Research Integrity and Compliance at the University of Maryland, College Park, Applied Research Laboratory for Intelligence and Security (ARLIS). She has over 20 years of experience working in compliance for the Federal Government, most recently serving as the Special Agent in Charge at the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of the Inspector General (OIG).
Pamela started her law enforcement career in 1999, as a Special Agent with the U.S. Department of State, Diplomatic Security Service (DSS), where she worked many high-profile assignments. Specifically, Pamela served as the liaison to the Central Intelligence Agency, where she was instrumental in the development of the National Counterterrorism Center. Following her service with DSS, Pamela served at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission OIG, as well as the U.S. Department of Transportation OIG. Prior to Pamela’s law enforcement career, she served as a high school English teacher in Montgomery County, Maryland for six years. Pamela earned her bachelor’s degree, majoring in English, from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and her master’s degree in Education Administration and Supervision from Howard University.
