Reginald Bostick is a principal faculty specialist at ARLIS having served over 30 years in the U.S. Army, primarily in Special Operations. He has served as a Military Assistant to the Secretary of the U.S. Army, a Special Assistant to the Assistant Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Staff, an Assistant Deputy Director of the National Military Command Center, and a Deputy Commander of Special Operations Command South. He has implemented innovative and unconventional methods to train, equip and deploy forces worldwide in support of multiple operations during peacetime and conflict.
Before joining ARLIS, Reggie led the Joint Personnel Recovery Agency’s (JPRA) Global Assessments initiatives for the Combatant Commands and Military Departments. He has aggressively advocated for and advised multiple leaders on implementing and using influence operations since 2001. He has experience designing and evaluating assessments of cognitive abilities, skills, and knowledge, including assessments of aptitude and risk tolerance. Other scientific project contributions range from designing cyber assessment frameworks, mitigating insider risk, supporting cross-cultural training and communication, and technological applications for foreign influence. A 1988 graduate of Wofford College, Reggie is a plank-holder in the PSYOP Regiment and a Life Member of the PSYOP Veterans Association. He has also earned a Master’s Degree in International Relations from Troy University and was a U.S. Army War College Fellow at the Institute of World Politics in Washington, D.C.
