Dr. W. Ethan Eagle is a keynote speaker who carefully tends the creative spark that innovative thinkers need to become torch-bearers and path-breakers. A consultant with the Innovatrium since 2010, Dr. Eagle works diligently with teams to harness the power of constructive conflict. He is skilled at building multidisciplinary and high-functioning teams through practicum-based educational experiences that provide a scaffolding for learning from failures, guided self- and peer assessments and stakeholder engagements.
He has provided dozens of public seminars using his facilitation methods for creativity and strategy and is active as a private coach to executives and corporate teams who want to build the courage, conviction, competition, and commitment to do what's never been done before. Currently, Dr. Eagle is the head coach for the USAF Innovation Education Program "Project Mercury" where he provides stewardship for innovation teams during the 12-week curriculum. These efforts have gone on to launch successful innovators at the North Spark Defense Lab as well as given birth to the USAF strategic innovation initiative, Project Morpheus.
His academic research follows sustainable, ethical, and social justice principles and he co-authored many lessons for the high-school engineering curriculum 'engineering for us all.' He is an alumnus of the Combustion Research Facility at Sandia National Labs where he worked as a post-doctroal scholar. His PhD in Aerospace Engineering is from the University of Michigan.
