Facilities
ARLIS has two locations in College Park, Md., a short distance from the University of Maryland's main campus.
ARLIS operates a 128,000 square-foot secure building with workspace to accommodate all levels of classification to support our research. In 2023, we expanded into a new building in College Park to accommodate our growing administrative and research staff.
In addition to purely behavioral research paradigms common in human subjects research, ARLIS also uses psychophysiological methodologies. We use a multimodal human computer interaction lab that allows us to address sophisticated basic research questions as well as conduct testing and evaluation for government sponsors.
The multidisciplinary nature of our research allows us to desing rigorous psychophysiological experiments, and also to perform the necessary and often complex data analysis and visualization. ARLIS maintains a deep bench of expertise in AI, machine learning, data science, measurement and statistics which are critical to our human subjects research projects.
