My name is Jason Koehn. From 2016-2020, I attended American University, where I received my BA in International Relations from AU’s School of International Service. Currently, I am a first-year MA student at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), with concentrations in economics and conflict management. I have academic and professional interests in international security and foreign policy. These interests have stemmed from internship experiences at the Department of State and the Global Environment Facility. I also have an interest in the East Asia region. During a study abroad semester in Hong Kong, I conducted research on Mainland Chinese-Local Hong Kong student relations amidst political/social unrest. Research findings from this study were recently published in the Fall 2020 Diversity Abroad Journal.
