History & Mission

Launched in 2026, Maryland Quantum NEXUS was established to strengthen Maryland's quantum workforce by developing professionals prepared to contribute to operational quantum missions. 

Through applied training, hands-on experience, and sustained engagement with industry, government, and national security mission partners, NEXUS develops a workforce equipped to support emerging quantum capabilities while strengthening Maryland's strategic position within the national quantum community.
